Dr. Patricia Winter earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. She then earned a Masters Degree and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio in 1993. Her one-year internship was at the VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. She has continued her education in Psychology by attending seminars and conferences annually, in order to maintain proficiency with new methods and techniques. Dr. Winter is licensed to practice as a psychologist in the state of Colorado, License # 1962. She is a member of the American Psychological Association.
Originally from Wisconsin, she moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 1993. After marrying and starting a family, she moved to the Buena Vista, CO area in 2006 in order to have a smaller community to raise children. Her hobbies include: skiing, horseback riding, hiking, and cooking. She volunteers for community organizations such as 4-H and Buena Vista School District programs.
